Off to Dubai!

One of my very good friends lives in Dubai and he invited me to visit him during the shopping fest. So hubby and me have flown to Dubai for four fun-filled days!!! :)

Again, don't think I will have time to blog or visit blogs during this time. But will definitely share some pics once I am back!

Till then, have a great time and a Happy Republic Day to my Indian readers (26th January is Republic Day in India).

Outfit of the Day - Dark colors

I had a lot of errands to run today for a trip that's happening next week. So I slipped into a long dress and heels and was on the run the whole day!

I have titled the post dark colors because all the colors in today's outfit are dark - the dress, the purse and the shoes. I love this dress because of the flared bottom which looks very flattering :)

Hope you like my OOTD!

Dress - Marks & Spencer,
Shoes - Inc. 5,
Purse - United Colors of Benetton

Outfit of the day - Christmas colours

I know its late for wearing Christmas colors. But I recently bought this dress from Forever 21 and I find the colors very Christmasy :-) Also, I found that the purse I received from Rosegal looked really good with the dress.

The purse is a really lovely tote in red and green which has a detachable long belt so that the purse can also be used as a sling bag. The quality of the purse is very good and the delivery was very quick. I can see myself pairing this tote with many other dresses :-)

Also, Rosegal offers free shipping worldwide and 30 days unconditional returns.

Let me know what you think of my OOTD and the tote :-)

I love New York!

First of all,

Wish you all a very happy new year! J

So I am back from New York and as you can see from the post title, I am smitten, very smitten! I have travelled to many places, but I have never felt the attraction that I feel for New York. I loved the city, and I think a part of that is made up by the wonderful friends I have there (you know who you are - thanks for making my stay so amazing! Love you guys!). The city has a life and energy which draws you in and then you are stuck. You don't want to ever leave!

Despite the cold weather, I was fortunate to be in NY in December as I got to see the gorgeous Christmas decorations everywhere, especially at Rockefeller and Wall Street (even the bull had been decorated!). Also, one more reason, the Christmas sales! They were just too good and I ended up shopping like crazy ;-). I wonder whether I should put up a haul post, but that would mean too many pics, and I don't think I am up to it :-(
