Outfit of the Day - Yellow Green

Today's outfit consists of this lovely yellow and green maxi dress that I received from Dresslink.com. The colors are attractive and I love the peacock feather print at the top and bottom :-)

The dress is very lightweight and accommodates my baby bump very well which is a definitely plus! The dress will look also gorgeous once I am back to my normal figure and I look forward to trying it out once honeybun is out and about :-)

I paired the dress with black sandals, a black purse and black and gold earrings. Sounds like a lot of black, but I think it works out well.

Outfit of the Day - Burgundy (me) and green (hubby)

This Sunday, met up with my group of friends who have featured here before. I will soon be putting up a review of the cafe where we met. I did realize one thing - when we go out to meet friends, hubby is always ready to pose for me ;-)

So this post features both our outfits. I wore the pencil skirt I got from Korea with a black top, a burgundy bag (love the colour of this bag!) and a necklace that I got from my mom. As a kid, I used to see my mom wear this necklace and loved it. Mom gifted it to me last year, and it is one of my all time favorites. Love the mix of pearls with the rubies and diamonds :)

As for hubby, he paired his bright green tee with fawn trousers and brown shoes. I love this tee of his!

PS: I generally do not do much make-up. But I went with smoky eyes for this outfit. Do let me know how it looks :)

Outfit of the day - the purple bag

As the title suggests, the highlight of this outfit is the big purple fringe bag that I received from Sammydress. I love the gorgeous purple colour of the bag and the fringe :-) And its for less than $10!

I paired the bag with a grey maxi dress, a long necklace and magenta sandals. I added a pair of big earrings to complete the outfit.

My hair is a big mess in these pics because there was so much wind! Thankfully, the Romwe sunnies keep them somewhat in place :-)

Outfit of the Day - Dark colors

I had a lot of errands to run today for a trip that's happening next week. So I slipped into a long dress and heels and was on the run the whole day!

I have titled the post dark colors because all the colors in today's outfit are dark - the dress, the purse and the shoes. I love this dress because of the flared bottom which looks very flattering :)

Outfit of the Day - casual again

So this is another casual outfit. I got the top from GAP on impulse because I liked the colour. But I was not sure how I would style it because of the uneven hem. I had planned to get the hem altered and make it even. But then I paired it with tights and loved the casual and comfy look.

So the top remains uneven :)

Outfit of the Day - Family Day

Sunday was Family Day at office. We could take our family to the office so that they could see where we work :)

I took my parents and hubby dearest. They saw the desk where I spend 12 hours a day (boo to me!) and then had loads of snacks in the cafeteria. My parents were really happy to see where I worked and that made me happy :)

Photos were not allowed on the premises. So hubby and me got home and took some pictures at home.

I wore casual clothes with a bit of zing and added my favourite chunky necklace of pink stones. Let me know what you think! :)

Outfit of the Day - Black!

As mentioned in the Liebster award post, black is one of my favorite colours. Other favorite colours keep changing - like currently yellow is my favorite, before that it was blue. But black always remains. It not only suits all skin tones and looks striking, it is good at hiding bulges, making you look slimmer, and overall, more elegant.
