Do you remember those fairy tales in which there was a beautiful princess who lived in a castle and had a lovely bedroom? I used to dream of living in a castle with a room of my own and a pretty bed and a huge closet. And in those dreams, my bed was covered with lovely shiny (I didn't know what satin was as a kid :-p) bedsheets with matching pillow cases!
Even when I visited castles in Europe, I was fascinated by the lovely bedspreads used by the kings and queens.
