Off to Korea!

Hellos!!!! Like I said in my last post, I have been really busy at work for the last 3-4 weeks. As a result, I haven't had time to blog much or visit blogs. It was all due to this trip!

So I am on my way to Seoul for some meetings and will be back in a week. Am so excited! :-)

I don't think I will have much time for blogging this week. But will definitely be back in full form next week and share some pics and tips about Korea :-)

Outfit of the day - at the spa

I have been extremely busy at work over the past 2-3 weeks. So I haven't been able to blog much or reply to comments. Sorry about that!

So obviously I was happy to get a long weekend (15th August is the Indian Independence Day and was a holiday) off. Hubby and I decided to take advantage of the day off and went off to the spa to get a massage. I decided to get a foot massage which was so so relaxing, I actually fell asleep :-) We ended the day with a delicious dinner at the Noodle Bar.

I wore a short grey A-line dress and a bright red shrug to provide a pop. Added a traditional necklace and silver slip-ons and I was done! I like the effect of the red against the grey - simple yet chic :-)

Colour in formals - A touch of purple

Those of you who are not familiar with "Colour in formals", please see this introduction post. Its all about having more colour in formal clothes - I know that was obvious! :-p

So anyways, I have had this lavender skirt for quite a long time and I always thought I would pair it with a white shirt for a crisp, formal look. But when I kept my purple poloneock against it, I just loved it! And I paired my large pearl necklace to complete a lovely, formal look :-)

So what do you think? Do you like it? Is it colourful enough?

Outfit of the day - Black magic

Its become quite cool in Mumbai these days due to the monsoons. So I wore this black sweater dress when I went out this weekend. And this dress was the perfect background for the floral necklace that I received from the Born Pretty Store.
