As I mentioned in my previous post, I went to Dubai to meet my friend and experience the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF). Hubby and I had a total blast and we are still missing Dubai :)
We were in Dubai for 4 days and these were full of fun from morning till night. I will provide a list of must do things in Dubai. If you are ever in Dubai, don't miss these!
As regards the DSF, I was a bit disappointed. This could be because I had just seen the awesome Christmas sales in New York after which everything feels expensive. But in truth, the sales during DSF are not that great and also the same stuff which is available in New York is more expensive in Dubai. Still I would recommend going to Dubai during DSF as the climate is the best then, and of course there are still sales going on - in case you do want to shop :)
Desert Safari: Dune bashing, belly dancing, barbeque! Desert safari is one of the best experiences ever. Enjoying the beauty of the desert while having a delicious barbeque is incomparable. Don't miss this!

Dubai Mall: The largest mall in the world, Dubai Mall is a must visit. Even if you don't want to shop, this mall will fascinate you. And if you want to shop, then you will find every brand here. Another good mall for shopping is the Deira City Centre Mall.

Burj Khalifa: The tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa is beautiful and awe-inspiring. It is next to the Dubai Mall and the Fountain. So from Dubai mall, go to the fountain, catch a lovely view of Burj Khalifa and also enjoy the musical fountain. To go atop the Burj Khalifa, advance booking is required. You will be provided a time when you need to present yourself so that you can be whisked up!
