Outfit of the Day - Blue and Orange

For today's outfit, I paired the plain blue dress that I got from Korea with a lovely necklace I received from CNDirect. Playing with the colors in the necklace, I paired the outfit an orange bag. 

So another simple but I believe stylish outfit :-) Do you like it?

I styled today's outfit around this gorgeous red bag that I received from CNDirect. Given the lovely red color of the bag, I decided to pair it with a black and white dress and white platform wedges. And as a finishing touch, I added my favorite red lipstick.

I think the bag looks quite striking against the dress. What do you think? Do you like the OOTD?

Wedding Dresses at Landybridal

One of my favorite bloggers recently got married and of course she had a gorgeous white wedding dress. And that started me googling on wedding dresses. So what if I am married! I always hope I can get married again to hubby on our 10th anniversary and this time have a white wedding rather than an Indian wedding :-)

Landybridal is a website that has some of the most beautiful wedding dresses I have seen. They have stunning vintage lace wedding dresses and also destination wedding dresses. And the unique thing is the beautiful backs of the dresses! The lacework at the back is breathtaking. All the dresses are handmade so that they fit perfectly.

The destination wedding dresses include dresses which are perfect if you are having a beach wedding. Loved these dresses!

Outfit of the Day - Pink purse

Today's outfit is very simple. I paired a black dress with my pink and blue heels. The highlight of the outfit is the pink purse that I received from Dresslink. Its a large purse with sufficient space to take all the odd things I stuff into my purse :-D

I feel the look is quite elegant. What do you think?

Outfit of the Day - Yellow Green

Today's outfit consists of this lovely yellow and green maxi dress that I received from Dresslink.com. The colors are attractive and I love the peacock feather print at the top and bottom :-)

The dress is very lightweight and accommodates my baby bump very well which is a definitely plus! The dress will look also gorgeous once I am back to my normal figure and I look forward to trying it out once honeybun is out and about :-)

I paired the dress with black sandals, a black purse and black and gold earrings. Sounds like a lot of black, but I think it works out well.

Babymoon Look 2

This is my second look during the babymoon in Goa. I combined a polo neck black sweater dress with a long gold necklace and red shoes. Its a very simple look, but was perfect for the weather that day which kept turning cold due to rains.

Babymoon Look 1

With the coming of a baby, vacations will be out of the question for quite some time! So hubby and I went on a babymoon a few weeks back - now that I am in my second trimester and with most of my preggy symptoms reducing. I will share more on the babymoon in later posts. For now wanted to share one of the outfits from the babymoon :)

This floral cotton dress has been very comfortable and stylish as my bump has grown (unfortunately does not fit any more!). And it has also been perfect for the hot Mumbai weather. I accessorized with a single strand of pearls and white sandals (most comfortable heels I own - so you will see them here often till I deliver :-D).

Meet the bump!

Hello everyone!

I am sure most of you have noticed that I have become a bit infrequent in my blogging. And in one of my previous posts I had mentioned that it was due to something happening in my life. Well, I am ready to reveal what that is, and I am sure you already know it from the pic below.

I am expecting!!!!!! And the little honeybun is due in December :-)

So with the first three months of preggy symptoms and also lots of work that kept getting piled up, I just didn't have much energy or time left for blogging. But there are so many things that I want to share with you all, that I am going to make myself blog regularly again :-)

So for now, say hi to honeybun and pray that everything goes well and hubby and I get a happy and healthy child in December.

PS: In case any of you is curious to know whether honeybun is a boy or girl - well, we do not know it either :-D It will be a nice surprise in December.

Outfit of the Day - Simple and short

I am back after a really long break. I can't believe I did not blog at all in June! But there have been lots of things happening which prevented my from blogging. I will soon blog about those things ;-)

So today's outfit is a short geometrical dress with in-cut shoulders which is extremely comfortable. I paired a matching green purse and white sandals for a casual look. A pair of big silver earrings and I was done.

Outfit of the Day - Double birthday glitter

The double birthday in the title refers to those of my father and brother. They have birthdays on consecutive days - first my father and then the next day my brother. So we generally have a combined family party on one of the days. This year, the party was on the day of my father's birthday :)

When I bought this sequins top in Spain, hubby had asked me where will you wear something so glittery. I had the same thought, but still bought it since I fell in love with it. And then I realized - a double birthday party is the perfect to place to wear something this glittery - right?

My father loved it, and my brother as usual made fun of it (you know how elder brothers are O_o !!). But anyways, I loved having an occasion to wear this top and having worn it once, I will now wear it even without occasion. Let people stare if they want :-p

Given how shiny the top was, I kept the accesories to a  minimum. Just paired it with a pair of jeans, my silver heels and a white clutch and I was done! :)

Outfit of the Day - Chinese

I am still not well enough to take outfit pics. But I have these outfit pics which were taken just before I am became ill and which I did not have a chance to put up.

This outfit consists of a red Chinese style dress, paired with gold sandals and long gold earrings. I wore this outfit to catch a movie with hubby :)

The satin material of the dress was quite difficult to photograph as it tends to reflect light a bit too much! But hubby has tried his best :)

Its been more than a month since I blogged and I am hating that. The problem is that I have been quite ill and hence unable to even think about blogging. But I am now feeling a bit better and hope to get back to proper blogging from this weekend. I have also missed going through all your blogs and really look forward to doing that this weekend :-)

Since I am still not totally in the pink, you might see me looking tired in the coming outfit posts. Please bear with me on that.

Outfit of the Day - Red

Today's outfit is inspired by celebrities. I have seen many celebrities pairing a formal white shirt with different types of skirts. So I decided to pair my long red skirt with a white formal shirt and white platform heels.

After the last outfit post, I am loving the idea of adding a traditional element to my outfits. And so I added a round traditional purse to this outfit. Love the way it blends with the outfit. I also added a black and white choker necklace and my favorite red lipstick to complete the outfit.

My source of optimism

All of you who read my previous 2 posts about starting a new life and about my best friend know that I had to rebel against my mom's wish to get me married off to do my MBA. Some of you might have thought that she was harsh. And maybe she was.

But since the time I completed my MBA, my mom has been my rock. Even before I completed my MBA, mom realized that her little girl had grown up and could take her own decisions. And since then she became my guide. She does try to impose her decisions on me sometimes (which mom doesn't!), but she is also happy when I do my own thing :-)

Outfit of the Day - Indo western

The dress in this post is my favorite! It has featured on the blog multiple times and I always look for new ways to wear it :-)

This time I added a traditional jacket to the dress which adds a lot of color! And I paired it with golden accessories - long golden earrings, gold bangles and gold heels.
